Before the U. S. Stock Market Opening
Monday October 31 Stock Market Forecast
DJIA Probability of Being "Up" Monday: 03%

Market Comment: The MktMetrics DJIA forecast has posted 03% probability to be "Up" Monday. Friday's Stock Market action brought Investors back after testing key support levels once again. While most of the statistics have turned up from an oversold condition, Mondays after big run-ups on Fridays, are typically greeted with profit taking. Should this not occur because it is the end of the month, expect it to happen on Tuesday. To protect my long positions, I have hedged my accounts by shorting a major Index this morning via an ETF. The DJIA is at the high of this most recent move up. However, with November and December approaching, and the recent formation of a strong support base, perhaps there is more positive momentum ahead. So Monday and Tuesday's performance must prove that the Stock Market can now develop a positive Trend as we wrap up the Calendar year.

Saturday October 28 Weekly Edition

Gale Financial Market Econometrics Weekly Edition - Sponsored by: www.MktMetrics.com

Our belief is that the Stock Market is controlled by Specialists and Market Makers or Exchange Insiders. We developed MktMetrics.com over a four year period and performed a 30-year computer generated study to test our findings. Our sole purpose was to produce a mirror image of where the Exchange Insiders buy and sell their stock inventory. We hope you will subscribe to MktMetrics.com and financially benefit by the amount of work put forth.

After performing our extensive research, we found that the Exchange Insiders control the direction of the Stock Market by moving the individual members of the Dow Jones Industrial Average to establish a trend for the purpose of accumulating and distributing stock at wholesale and retail prices. Therefore, we pay strict attention to what the numbers generated from the MktMetrics program to spot their intent. To the end, focus is directed to the DJIA.

Friday October 28 Stock Market Forecast
DJIA Probability of Being "Up" Friday: 84%

Market Comment: The MktMetrics DJIA forecast has posted 84% probability to be "Up" Friday. Thursday's Stock Market action brought Investors back to key support levels once again. The statistics have turned down from the high of this most recent move up. However, with today's positive forecast and the strong support base formed last week and yesterday's test of that base, the Stock Market has the opportunity to strengthen from here to move higher for the balance of the year. That is the best case scenario, but will only become realistic if the Stock Market has a particularly strong day today, Friday.

Thursday October 27 Stock Market Forecast
DJIA Probability of Being "Up" Thursday: 55%

Market Comment: The MktMetrics DJIA forecast has posted 55% probability to be "Up" Thursday. While there is hesitation at the top of this move after yesterday's decline, Investors should not make judgments of which way the Stock Market will go until Thursday displays the Specialists and Market Makers intent. The statistics have gone flat, which, either demonstrates a hesitation on the way up, or hesitation to a new move down to lower levels. Yesterday's Forecast was 52% and today's is 55%, both illustrating an indecisive market and not much of a Trend either way. Watch closely the Arm's Trin Index of Advances and Declines and respective volumes to get a better idea for today's action. Today should be positive with the earnings season in full gear and resistance levels not present yet.

Market Comment: The MktMetrics DJIA forecast has posted 52% probability to be "Up" Wednesday. The Stock Market was expected to decline Tuesday as it absorbed Monday's big rally. What was interesting was the display of strength during the last hour. DJIA Money Flows, Trend and MACD advanced positively. Tuesday October 25 Stock Market Forecast
DJIA Probability of Being "Up" Tuesday: 3%

Market Comment: The MktMetrics DJIA forecast has posted 3% probability to be "Up" Tuesday. The Stock Market is expected to decline Tuesday as it absorbs Monday's big rally. DJIA Money Flows are flat after yesterday's advance, which is surprising. The DJIA Trend, Momentum and MACD did advance positively. So the Stock Market has moved off of depressed levels and the Trend, Momentum and MACD is back to where they were on September 30, when the DJIA was at 10,568.70. The important question now is: Can the Stock Market move higher in the face of so much adversity?
The MDY, IWM, QQQQ and IYT ETF's as of yesterday, are in positive ground. However, they could turn negative once again today and the Stock Market and DJIA are still not positive. Therefore, if we are going to move higher after Tuesday's profit taking, today needs to hold on to much of yesterday's rally. At this juncture, the resistance is 10,600 and support is 10,200.

Index Statistics: Above 50% Bullish - Below 50% Bearish
DJIA Probability of Being "Up" Tuesday: 3%
Trend: Rising Today 48% vs. Yesterday 42% (High 77% / Low 16%)

Stock Market Outlook: Bearish Rising 45.4% vs. Yesterday 30.3 (High 88.8% / Low 12.2%) (DJIA, S&P500, Russell 2000 & NASDAQ 100) Aggregate)

Monday October 24 Stock Market Forecast
DJIA Probability of Being "Up" Monday: 58%

Market Comment: The MktMetrics DJIA forecast has posted 58% probability to be "Up" Monday. The Stock Market is expected to rise Monday as Futures and Options have expired. Thursday and Friday's market action was a shake-out for the Specialists and Market Makers to finish realigning their inventory at wholesale prices and to roll forward Derivatives, Futures and Options into the next cycle. The Money Flows are advancing positively.

There is a concern that the Trend and MACD pulled back Friday, after moving forward all last week. Also, the DJIA closed 1.37 below our lowest level that our subscribers were advised to accumulate equities. Should the DJIA close below the 10,200 level, a liquidation of unwanted securities would be advised. We expect such a negative event to be avoided and the NASDAQ Composite will move higher, providing impetus for the rest of the markets. The Specialists and Market Makers need to liquidate their inventory at higher prices.

Friday October 14 Stock Market Forecast
DJIA Probability of Being "Up" Friday: 39%

Market Comment: The MktMetrics DJIA forecast has posted 39% probability to be "Up" Friday. The major ETF's we post daily rose except for the interest sensitive IDU, which, made a new low. The DJIA and other indices presented rose yesterday from fresh lows from a very oversold position and a strong base has formed. Furthermore, the Specialists and Market Makers have realigned their inventory to profit by an upward move as we approach the end of this 5-week option period on Friday, October 21. Therefore, it has been prudent that an accumulation of quality stocks has been performed and Investors can now profit with the Exchange Insiders as the Stock Market moves higher. The DJIA Trend remains stuck in neutral at a two-year support level. It is always a good idea to wait until the DJIA Trend has turned up from a steady decline. The software sector often leads a move from a strong base and will be important to rise here. Emphasis on the hardware, semiconductor, biotech, software, consumer sectors are our focus. Subscribers should buy at MktMetrics suggested lows for stocks you like.

Tuesday October 11 Stock Market Forecast
DJIA Probability of Being "Up" Tuesday: 61%

Market Comment: The MktMetrics DJIA forecast has posted 61% probability to be "Up" Tuesday. Tuesday will be an important trading day for the Stock Market to regain its composure and reverse the recent decline. The third quarter earnings season is now reporting and the DJIA Trend is at a two-year support level. It is always a good idea to wait until the DJIA Trend has turned up from a steady decline. The Stock Market will require a short period to form a base before moving higher. This is the time to not overload on stocks. Rather, equities accumulation of perhaps 10% - 15% of capital availability each day during this week is more appropriate. As users of MktMetrics, attempt to buy at the predicted low of the day for the quality stocks you like most.

Before the U. S. Stock Market Opening
Wednesday October 5 Stock Market Forecast
DJIA Probability of Being "Up" Wednesday: 87%

Market Comment: The MktMetrics DJIA forecast has posted 87% probability to be "Up" Wednesday. The Trend has moved lower and the Momentum remains in poor shape. Therefore, it will be important for the Stock Market to rebound from yesterday, for the next two trading sessions to regain its upward composure. If not, it will generate renewed selling pressure. The Stock Market is trading a 5-week futures and options cycle and has less than three weeks left in October, which means a lot more volatility ahead. October has been typically known for dramatic swings. The Stock Market has experienced large distribution over the past six months. While there is a strong possibility for the Stock Market to move up Wednesday, keep in mind there has been no positive Trend in quite some time. September futures and options expired over two weeks ago when the DJIA closed at 10,641.19. Yesterday's close of 10,441.11 illustrates the selling pressure that has been holding the Stock Market back from any meaningful advance.
